The shopping portal is operated by Cartera, who also operates similar portals for other airlines including United, American, Delta, and Southwest. Shopping portals are a great way to keep mileage accounts active and keep those precious miles from expiring (this can be achieved for as little as $.99 by making a purchase from iTunes).
